The Apostle Paul wrote, {I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil 4:12-13KJV} When I listen to these words I am aware that Paul was in the ministry and he was one of the greatest men of God ever and yet he suffered. He suffered more because of the problems in the church of his day, the church he had given his life to see accomplish the call of Jesus to take the Gospel into the world. The problems Pauld faced was akin to the very real problem within the church by those who were not the children of God, but were in fact planted by the enemy. Jesus told us about the problem when He taught about tares in amidst the wheat. He told us to recognize the tares, but leave them alone and let them grow in the field lest we uproot the wheat also. You see, it is a real problem for God's children when the tares mingle with the wheat and then show themselves that they are tares, it really hurts the wheat. When the tares are gone, then the wheat is able to grow again without any problems, but they are still hurt in the process of the "uprooting". Jesus said of this process that it would better for the person (that causes one of His little children to be hurt, is a mill stone was hanged around their neck and that they should be drounded in the depts of the sea". The good news in all this process is that God will again bless and the breach will be healed and the church will grow again, even better than before. We serve a wonderful God and He loves us and wants for us the very best. I believe He will show us great and mighty things in the coming year! Our new "Drama Team" is up and running and presenting some of the greatest skits I have ever seen in our services. The wonderful work by Carol Redd and her team just blesses my heart. If you missed the skit this past Sunday, then you had better be here this coming week to see the special skit that will be presented. Our Praise team and Praise Band are also working on new music and will be giving these special presentations in the coming weeks, so don't miss any of these special services! I hope to see all of you this coming Sunday, God Bless Brother Cole
